Marlene will show you the secret of success in controlling your incoming mail, bills, catalogs, credit card offers and junk mail. She will also teach you what to do with all those flyers about upcoming events that you want to keep, but have nowhere to put and usually lose.
Students often find it difficult to keep track of time and Marlene works well with them and takes into account special needs like ADD/ADHD.
Moving/Storage
Marlene has a unique system for packing and moving that uses color coding, labels in English and Spanish and a separate alphabetical index locator system which eliminates searching through boxes. This system is much more detailed than a moving company's general subject/room on a box. It's a system that you can keep with you and can be used for storage units, as well.
Downsizing & Life Transitions
Often families of the elderly either do not have time or find it difficult to go through the contents of their relative’s home. In addition to packing, moving and getting the house ready for sale a Professional Organizer can assist with getting items sorted for relatives, placed in a memory book or help select items for storage. Often our older relatives want to keep items that have memories attached to them and Marlene is able to create unique ways to preserve the memories without using space.
Marlene also helps families of the deceased deal with personal effects left behind. Services are available for in-town and out of town relatives and include sorting, packing, mailing, clean-up, repairs, charitable donations, estate sales, home staging and home sale.
